We have had a lot of time to work on boat projects…a LOT of time. Of course, now that it’s down to the wire it seems like they all have to be finished at once, because as any boat owner knows, one project begets three…Here’s a list of some of the projects/upgrades we have (well, David, mostly – he may start giving boat yoga classes!) undertaken/made on Tocino while docked in Florida (2020-2021) and (2022):

Renovated v-berth to be master bedroom. - Made a flexible mount for solar panels out of our old main sail – it will allow us to move the solar panels to optimal locations with little fuss.
- Handmade crates using leftover sapele to hold spices in galley
- Created a shim for nav station desk so that it is horizontal vs. slanted
- Installed hanging rods in aft head
